The Conscious ANCHOR

🌿 What Anchors Consciousness?

The Universe is within YOU at all times. Are you conscious of this?

What truly anchors consciousness? It’s a question that touches the deepest parts of who we are, or what and who we “think” we are — body, mind, and soul. While the mind often takes center stage, the anchor is far more expansive and imperative to be aware of to create a greater whole. The anchor is what everything and I mean everyyyyything is bult upon. In Guna Yoga School, we call this root chakra, the container that all else is bulit upon.

ALAN WATT’S reminds us, “You are an aperture through which the universe is looking at and exploring itself.” In other words, consciousness is not separate from life — it is life exploring its own depths. The universe is experiencing itself through our human experience. at she achieve studio, when we say, “YOU create your world” ~ we mean it.

Carl Jung called the subconscious the hidden ocean of the psyche, holding dreams, symbols, fears, and long-forgotten memories. This is where patterns, beliefs, and emotional imprints reside, shaping how we perceive reality without our conscious awareness.

Gabor Maté adds that what we often see as “disorder” or dysfunction is actually the body’s intelligent response to stress, trauma, or environmental pressure. Our bodies carry memory and wisdom — waiting to be understood, not judged.

Dolores Cannon expands this view further, showing that consciousness stretches beyond the current lifetime. Our soul carries memory and experience across dimensions, reminding us that the stories we tell ourselves are part of a much larger tapestry.

The Tao teaches that resisting life creates suffering, and that true flow arises when we move in harmony with the currents of existence.

🌿 The Body-Mind Connection

The anchor of consciousness is not purely mental; it is deeply embodied.

  • The fascia — the living web connecting every cell — stores emotional and physical memory. Trauma, joy, fear, and love leave their signature here.

  • The central nervous system (CNS) reads these signals constantly, interpreting what is safe or threatening and shaping our lived experience.

  • The subconscious communicates through the body, while awareness — the conscious observer — can learn to listen, integrate, and harmonize these messages.

This is the sacred synergy of body, mind, and spirit. When we move consciously, breathe intentionally, and cultivate presence, we’re not escaping our anchor — we’re embracing it.

🌿 Guna Yoga and the Dance of Consciousness

In Guna Yoga, which is the root of Guna Yoga School 200 hour YTT and she achieves studio. Here, we explore the interplay of the three fundamental attributes and qualities of nature, the universe and states of mind.

  • Sattva Guna — Air, clarity, light, and the witness that observes without attachment.

  • Rajas Guna — Fire, action, drive, the movement of consciousness.

  • Tamas Guna — Earth, grounding, stability, the anchor of the body.

By balancing the gunas, we create a relationship between the conscious and subconscious, integrating the body’s wisdom with the soul’s guidance. Awareness becomes the anchor itself, steadying us amidst life’s constant changes. Because life is gunna life, and energy is gunna energy with or without our consent, so step into the power within to move from power over or power under.

🌿 Moving Forward

Life will happen — with or without our consent.

1. The Subconscious as the Anchor

The subconscious often acts as the anchor of consciousness. It’s the vast storehouse of memories, habits, emotional patterns, and beliefs that shape your perception of reality without you even realizing it.

  • It keeps you grounded in familiar patterns.

  • It drives your automatic reactions and emotional responses.

  • Healing or shifting the subconscious can feel like lifting an anchor that has held your consciousness in old ways of being.

2. The deeper layers of the Unconscious

In Jungian terms, the unconscious includes not only the personal subconscious but also deeper layers like the collective unconscious — archetypes, ancestral patterns, and universal symbols.

  • It’s less immediately accessible than the subconscious.

  • It can hold profound wisdom and guidance, but also unresolved trauma or shadow aspects.

  • In this sense, the unconscious is more like a deep ocean that influences the anchor rather than the anchor itself.

3. Consciousness and Awareness

Some philosophies, like Taoism and Guna Yoga, suggest that true anchor is not the mind at all — it’s awareness itself.

  • Awareness observes both conscious thought and subconscious patterns without being pulled by them.

  • When you cultivate awareness through breath, movement, and meditation, consciousness can be stable, flexible, and present — anchored in being, not reaction.

4. Embodiment: Fascia + CNS

Your body anchors consciousness too:

  • Fascia holds emotional memory and trauma — the subconscious literally embedded in the body.

  • Central nervous system (CNS) interprets these signals and affects how conscious awareness experiences life.

  • In this sense, your body is a living anchor connecting conscious awareness to the subconscious mind.

đź’ˇ Bottom line:

  • The subconscious is the “anchor” in the sense of patterns and habits that keep consciousness tethered.

  • The unconscious is the deeper ocean influencing that anchor.

  • Awareness itself, supported by body-mind integration. Fascia+Mind+CNS, is what can stabilize consciousness and allow it to rise beyond old patterns.

The question is: will we level up or level out?

Through real, spiritual, and holistic private yoga, energy work, and soul alignment, you can learn to harmonize your nervous system, release stored tension in the fascia, and awaken the conscious observer within. This is more than yoga — it is a journey of remembering who you are and reclaiming your inherent power.
